Dr. Hiatt and his wife, Diana, a registered nurse, have participated in medical missions abroad and are fluent in Spanish. They are the proud parents of 2 sons and 4 daughters. Dr. Hiatt enjoys fishing, music, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Hiatt was voted a "TOP DOC" by his peers in 2010 and 2007 which was posted in phoenix magazine. He also was chosen as the plastic surgeon "doctors would choose for themselves" in a Maricopa county CBS news survey.
