PHOTOFACIAL

As we age, the sun damage accumulates and affects the way our skin looks. A photo facial is an effective procedure for the treatment of the sun damage which appears as areas of discoloration {such as rosacea and sunspots (age spots)}, and spider veins. A photofacial will help even out the skin tone.

In our office we use the Palomar Pulsed Light System which emits pulses of light into the skin. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the sunspots and the blood in visible vessels. Most body areas can be treated except directly around the eyes. Typically, more than one treatment is necessary to achieve maximum desired results.
