Facelift

By far, the best procedure for treating neck bands, sagging jowls or cheeks is the deep plane facelift. The deep plane facelift (rhytidectomy) has added safety while creating a natural, long lasting appearance instead of the "overdone" look. It is the "gold standard" by which all lesser face procedures are measured.

A facelift corrects sagging skin of the forehead, cheeks and neck to produce a youthful and vibrant appearance. The skin and muscles are surgically tightened and lifted. During the facelift procedure, neck liposuction is utilized to remove "double chin" or jowl fat.

Often the eyelids are treated at the same time. A "full" facelift takes approximately 4-5 hours and the recovery takes approximately 14 days.
